• I started in the salon industry in 1990 and have loved it ever since.  My background was in long hair care, but I felt my calling was in all hair styles and types.  I started my first salon in 1994 and expanded/relocated to open Selby Salon & Dayspa in 1999, which was the first dayspa @ Polaris. 
• With my day spa success came features in Dayspa, Salon Today, Business First & Columbus CEO.  My day spa won Salon Today's "Top 200 Fastest Growing Salons in the Country" 4 years in a row & I was awarded Business First's "40 Under 40" award. 
•  After much soul searching, I felt ownership was not for me & sold my spa to better concentrate on my clients, my family and environmental projects.
• My nature is to try to be the best I can be at what I'm doing, so I continually attend classes to learn new styles and techniques.  I have had  formal training in the area of razor cutting, men's clipper cutting, color correction, color techniques & trendy cuts. I have completed intensive training in Chicago to become a certified Cinderella Hair Extension Artist and am very excited to be able to offer clients another option for hairstlyes!
